Broken camera and good news on the study front

I am so bummed that my camera has broken. It's a really good quality one also, so I am still deciding on replacing it with a cheaper one or having it repaired. I will need to do something soon though because I keep missing out on capturing so many precious moments.

On to my good news!!!
I got the results of one of my assignments the other day and was stunned to see a score of 92%.
The course is so difficult and intense so I was aiming just to at least pass each module and get credits or distinctions for a confidence or ego boost, but I never expected a High Distinction. Not only was it a HD but it was almost a perfect score!!!
If only I didn't make those 3 little typo's. Ah well.. I don't want to aim for perfect scores now or else I will be setting myself up to either fail, or loosing sight of the main objective of doing the degree in the first place, which is to learn and to get a certificate which allows me to be a practicing therapist.
If I focus too much on my actual mark it will turn into silly game over achievement.
Besides, I am still doubting my abilities... perhaps the educator was just an easy marker.. maybe I was just knowledgeable in that particular subject..
All I know is that since receiving that score, I have re worded my next assignment 50 times, stared at it for several hours looking for silly insignificant typo's in the hope that I can get 1 extra mark.. arghhh... why can't I just be satisfied with passes? The aim for perfect scores is driving me bonkers!!!

Congratulations on the great mark. I agree you should not focus on the marks when writing, just put your all into each assignment.

I know how you feel about your camera, I thought mine was broken after our holiday this year but it turned out it was just a grain of sand in the lens. It ended up costing me $60 to get it fixed plus postage. I was very relieved. Its worth getting it checked out anyway. Mine was a Nikon and they don't take any money until you tell them to go ahead with the repairs. I think there was a $40 charge if you said no for there time in looking at it. Much cheaper than a new one though.
