He would have been in there around 10 to 15 minutes when he was found. It was seriously the scariest day of my life!!!
Well he was one of the lucky ones. He lived.
When he was found, he was happily playing and laughing and refused to unlock the door.
Once we got him out he looked like he had been standing under the shower he was so sweaty.
He came in and I gave him a drink and stripped him off to try and cool him down.
He played with the water in the spa but didn't want to hop in there with us..I tried to coax him in for half an hour.
He then went to sleep on the couch for 2 hours and when he woke he had aches and pains throughout his body and his eyes were swollen and red.
The cappillaries had burst from the heat. We thought he may have had his first bout of conjunctivities at the start, but once we took him to the chemist they told me it was more than likely the effects of over heating.
They gave us drops just incase, but 2 days later his eyes healed without treatment, which confirmed it wasn't conjunctivities.
I have added some photos I found on the camera tonight from the day after.
We now make sure the car is always locked and the keys out of reach!!!!
