Adult home schooler

I have started a bachelors in applied social science and am doing it mostly online at home.
I started the course the same day as school holidays (kids are no longer natural learning for now)
so it's been a struggle trying to study and entertain them at the same time, but not as hard as I thought it would be.
Skye starts at our local steiner school (Gilghai) on the 13th of this month, so we are going to start sewing some pretty spring dresses for her to wear there as they have no uniforms.

Today my mum went to a store near her work which sells fair trade toys and clothing. She bought the kids some wooden spinning tops, Skye got a felt dragonfly making kit and Breeze got a fairy one. Aiden got a wooden pull along toy with balls that roll inside it. I will have to get the camera out and take some shots of the lovely stuff from the store tomorrow.
She also bought Skye the prettiest dress and matching hat for her first day at school.

I also bid on ebay for some felt fabrics and the cutest tea party set, full of beautiful felt cup cakes, iced vovo's, cakes and donuts. I hope I win them, I will know on the 9th.
I have been eyeing off some felt vegies at the spiral garden store too, but if I get creative I may be able to make the kids some myself.

I am now on the look out for some kids wooden knitting needles for Skye and Breeze, so they can start knitting soft toys. They are also eager to learn to sew, so I will get some hand sewing kits for them to do first before trying to teach them to thread a machine and sew without inury LOL

I have been waiting for Skye to be lice free for 3 months solid so I can dread her hair (to make it look thicker) she is on week 2 so far.. I hope there's not a nit issue at her new school.

Will be back to post some photos tomorrow.
